Five For Friday

Friday, April 17, 2015
I can't believe it's already Friday again!  Where did the time go?  I've been super busy this past week working in my garden.

I got some of starts planted and am hoping they'll be ready to go into my raised beds in about a month.  I had to fix my grape poles, lay new bark, cut back clover in the beds, and other miscellaneous things.  It's so much work, but I love having the fresh produce in the summer and fall.  Also, I enjoy gardening so it's a win win.
This past weekend we had a four day weekend because of conferences.  My kids stayed with their grandparents and I had a free weekend to myself.  It was great.  I took advantage of the time and went to the local thrift store and stocked up on some books that my kids love!
I also had some time to go to Hobby Lobby.  I found these uppercase alphabet stamps on clearance for $6.50.  Now I just need to get a set of lowercase letters.
I've been trying to get my son to practice his handwriting skills more and more.  He loves his little handwriting book that I created.
I also created a few new sets of clipart this week.

  1. Oh, I love the new clipart! You're very talented, friend! :) And who doesn't love Hobby Lobby?! Am I right? Unfortunately, all my trips to Hobby Lobby have consisted of buying things for my wedding, but after July, I can't wait to get back in there and grab things I've had my eye on for months for my classroom! Have a great weekend!

  2. Your garden space looks amazing! I tried a little one last year and loved all the tomatoes we had! I'm hoping to try a few more things this year!

    1. Thank you! It really is so much fun knowing you grew the plants and are able to eat what you grow.

  3. That's a great price for rubber stamps. You'll love lower case, too. We use them all the time. You can't have too many. Kathleen
